TutorX Official Student Policy Document
At TutorX, we are committed to establishing the standards of behaviour, discipline, professionalism, academic integrity, and responsibility expected from every student enrolled with our institution.
Condition of Enrolment: Compliance with this Student Code of Conduct is a condition of continued enrolment with TutorX. Every student and parent/legal guardian is expected to carefully read, understand, and comply with this Code.

Core Educational Values
Every student is expected to demonstrate integrity, responsibility, discipline, kindness, curiosity, respect, professionalism, and academic honesty inside and outside the virtual classroom.
Strict Academic Honesty & Responsible AI
Students must complete work independently. AI tools may assist learning concepts, but using AI or external sources to complete homework, assignments, or exam answers is strictly prohibited.
Classroom Safety & Media Privacy
Zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination. Recording classes, taking screenshots of tutors/peers, or distributing TutorX learning resources without permission is illegal and strictly forbidden.
Shared Responsibilities
Students, parents/guardians, and tutors share duty in creating a safe environment, ensuring regular attendance, maintaining hardware/internet readiness, and protecting account credentials.

Welcome to TutorX.
TutorX is committed to providing a safe, respectful, disciplined, inclusive, and academically excellent learning environment for every student.
The purpose of this Student Code of Conduct is to establish the standards of behaviour, discipline, professionalism, academic integrity, and responsibility expected from every student enrolled with TutorX.
Every student, together with their parent or legal guardian where applicable, is expected to carefully read, understand, and comply with this Code throughout the period of enrolment.
This Code has been developed to ensure that TutorX remains a positive, professional, respectful, and secure educational environment in which students can achieve their full academic potential.
TutorX believes that education extends beyond academic performance. Students are expected to demonstrate integrity, responsibility, discipline, kindness, curiosity, respect, and professionalism both inside and outside the virtual classroom.
Compliance with this Student Code of Conduct is a condition of continued enrolment with TutorX.
Failure to comply with the provisions contained in this document may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the procedures established by TutorX.

TutorX believes that successful students are defined not only by their academic achievements but also by their character. Every TutorX student is expected to uphold the following core values:
Respect
Treat tutors, fellow students, parents, staff members, and every member of the TutorX community with dignity, courtesy, and respect.
Integrity
Always be honest in academic work, examinations, assignments, communication, and behaviour.
Discipline
Attend classes regularly, complete academic responsibilities on time, follow TutorX policies, and maintain appropriate conduct.
Responsibility
Accept responsibility for your own learning, behaviour, attendance, assignments, and academic progress.
Curiosity
Remain eager to learn, ask meaningful questions, participate actively, and continuously improve your knowledge and skills.
Kindness
Support classmates, demonstrate empathy, avoid bullying, and contribute towards creating a welcoming learning environment.
Academic Honesty
Complete all academic work independently unless collaboration has been specifically permitted by TutorX or the tutor.
Professionalism
Conduct yourself respectfully during every TutorX activity, both inside and outside scheduled classes where TutorX services are involved.
1. Article 1 - Purpose
1.1 Purpose of this Code
The purpose of this Student Code of Conduct is to establish the academic, behavioural, ethical, and professional standards expected from every student enrolled with TutorX.
This Code exists to:
- promote academic excellence;
- encourage discipline and responsibility;
- maintain a respectful learning environment;
- protect the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of students and tutors;
- promote academic honesty and integrity;
- encourage responsible use of technology;
- ensure fair treatment of every student;
- establish clear behavioural expectations;
- provide procedures for addressing misconduct; and
- support TutorX's mission of delivering high-quality education.
1.2 Guiding Principles
TutorX believes that effective education requires cooperation between students, parents, tutors, and the TutorX team.
Every provision of this Code shall be interpreted with the objective of creating a positive, respectful, safe, and academically productive learning environment.
2. Article 2 - Scope and Applicability
2.1 Persons Covered
This Student Code of Conduct applies to:
- every student enrolled with TutorX;
- parents and legal guardians where their participation is required under TutorX policies;
- all TutorX online classes;
- TutorX educational platforms;
- TutorX communication channels;
- TutorX assessments;
- TutorX examinations;
- TutorX homework and assignments;
- TutorX learning resources; and
- every TutorX educational activity organised or supervised by TutorX.
2.2 Duration
This Code applies throughout the student's enrolment with TutorX.
Students remain responsible for complying with this Code during classes, assessments, examinations, communication with tutors, use of TutorX resources, and participation in TutorX activities.
2.3 Acceptance
By enrolling with TutorX and continuing to use TutorX educational services, students and parents acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Student Code of Conduct.
3. Article 3 - Admissions and Eligibility
3.1 Eligible Students
TutorX currently provides educational services for:
- School students (Class 1 onwards).
- Competitive examination aspirants.
TutorX may introduce additional educational programmes for college students, university students, and working professionals in the future. Such programmes shall become subject to this Code upon their introduction.
3.2 Minimum Educational Level
Students may enrol with TutorX beginning from Class 1.
There is presently no maximum age limit for admission, provided that the student is eligible for the programme in which they seek enrolment.
3.3 International Students
TutorX welcomes students from any country, subject to compliance with TutorX admission requirements, payment policies, and applicable laws.
International students shall enjoy the same rights, responsibilities, and obligations under this Student Code of Conduct as domestic students.
3.4 Mode of Learning
All TutorX classes are currently conducted online.
TutorX reserves the right to introduce offline classes, hybrid learning, or additional educational services in the future. Such services shall become subject to this Student Code of Conduct unless otherwise specified.
3.5 Admission Confirmation
Admission shall normally be confirmed after successful completion of the required registration process and payment of applicable fees.
Admission does not exempt students from complying with this Student Code of Conduct or any other TutorX policy.
4. Article 4 - Attendance and Class Participation
4.1 Attendance Requirement
Regular attendance is essential for academic success. Every student is expected to attend all scheduled TutorX classes unless prevented by unavoidable circumstances.
TutorX expects students to maintain 100% attendance whenever reasonably possible.
Repeated absence may negatively affect the student's academic progress and understanding of the course material.
4.2 Prior Notification of Absence
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, the student or the parent/legal guardian should inform TutorX as early as reasonably possible through an official TutorX communication channel.
Advance notice enables TutorX to provide appropriate academic support where available.
4.3 Absence with Prior Notice
Where a student informs TutorX in advance regarding an unavoidable absence, TutorX may provide the following, where applicable:
- Class recording.
- Class notes.
- Homework or learning materials.
- Doubt-clearing session or additional doubt support where available.
- Reclass or replacement session only where mutually agreed by both the student and TutorX and where operationally feasible.
TutorX does not guarantee replacement classes for every absence.
4.4 Absence Without Prior Notice
Where a student fails to attend class without informing TutorX, the student may still receive class notes and recordings.
However, repeated absence without notice may result in verbal warning, parent/guardian notification, or academic counselling where necessary.
Repeated unexplained absence may affect academic performance, although students shall not automatically lose enrolment solely because of absence.
4.5 Late Arrival
Students are expected to join classes before the scheduled starting time. Students arriving after the class has begun shall be marked as late.
Students joining significantly late shall be permitted to enter the class where reasonably possible but no additional teaching time shall be provided, missed content remains the student's responsibility, and notes/recordings remain available according to policy. Where lateness becomes frequent, TutorX may notify the parent/guardian.
4.6 Participation
Students are expected to participate actively, answer questions honestly, ask questions respectfully, complete classroom activities, cooperate with tutors, and respect classmates during discussions.
5. Article 5 - Classroom Behaviour and Professional Conduct
5.1 Respect Towards Tutors
Students shall treat every TutorX tutor with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Students shall follow instructions, listen respectfully, avoid arguing disrespectfully, avoid insulting or threatening tutors, and cooperate during lessons.
5.2 Respect Towards Fellow Students
Students shall treat classmates with dignity and respect. Students shall not engage in bullying, harassment, mocking, intimidation, personal attacks, or exclusion.
5.3 Anti-Discrimination
TutorX maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination based upon religion, race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, disability, language, culture, or any other protected characteristic.
5.4 Appropriate Language
Students shall communicate respectfully at all times. Abusive language, vulgar language, offensive remarks, hate speech, threatening language, and harassment are prohibited.
5.5 Classroom Discipline
Students shall not intentionally disrupt classes through actions including making loud noises, playing music, trolling, interrupting tutors, distracting classmates, or repeatedly speaking without permission. Where disruption continues, the tutor may mute the microphone, inform TutorX, or remove the student from that particular class in extreme situations.
5.6 Classroom Etiquette
Students are expected to arrive prepared, maintain appropriate behaviour, respect learning time, keep unnecessary conversations to a minimum, and follow tutor instructions.
5.7 Food and Drink
Eating during classes is prohibited. Students may drink water during class without requesting permission, provided doing so does not disrupt learning.
6. Article 6 - Camera, Microphone and Online Classroom Requirements
6.1 Camera Requirement & 6.2 Repeated Refusal
Students are expected to keep their camera switched on during online classes. Where genuine reasons prevent camera use, TutorX may consider reasonable exceptions. Repeated refusal without a valid reason may lead to verbal warnings, written warnings, or parent notifications.
6.3 Microphone Usage
Students should keep their microphone muted unless answering a question, asking permission to speak, or participating in discussion, and avoid background noise.
6.4 Student Names & 6.5 Profile Photograph
Students must join using their registered name. Nicknames or anonymous identities are prohibited. Real photos or appropriate display images are required; offensive content is forbidden.
6.6 Screen Sharing & 6.7 Background
Screen sharing is permitted only after receiving tutor permission. Classes should be attended from a quiet environment with non-distracting backgrounds.
6.8 Recording Restrictions
Students shall not record classes, use screen-recording software, record audio, or photograph classroom content without permission. Authorized recordings provided by TutorX must not be misused, published, or commercially distributed.
7. Article 7 - Academic Integrity
7.1 Academic Honesty & 7.2 Misconduct
TutorX places the highest importance on honesty. Cheating, copying work, plagiarism, submitting work completed by another person or AI, using unauthorized materials, and assisting others in cheating constitute misconduct.
7.3 Cheating During Assessments
Progressive actions for cheating: First offence (Verbal warning), Second offence (Written warning), Third offence (Assessment marks cancelled). Serious misconduct may require parent notification, supervised retests, or temporary suspension.
7.4 Homework, 7.5 Copying, & 7.6 Late Homework
Homework must be completed independently. Copied homework requires re-completion and parent notification. Late homework is marked as a late submission and repeated failure leads to academic guidance.
7.7 Artificial Intelligence & 7.8 Prohibited AI Use
AI may be used responsibly as a learning aid (understanding concepts, practice questions, grammar). Students shall NOT use AI to complete homework, generate assignments submitted as original work, or produce exam answers.
8. Article 8 - Communication and Tutor Interaction
8.1 Official Communication: All official communication must occur through TutorX-approved channels.
8.2 Private Contact: Students shall not privately contact tutors via personal messaging or social media.
8.3 Communication Outside Hours: Permitted only through approved TutorX channels.
8.4 Respectful Communication: Abusive, threatening, or offensive messages are strictly prohibited.
8.5 Parent Participation: Parents may observe demo/trial sessions but shall not routinely attend regular live classes unless authorized.
8.6 Student Questions: Active participation and asking clarification questions are warmly encouraged.
9. Article 9 - Privacy, Digital Safety and Student Accounts
9.1 Privacy & 9.2 Screenshots: Respect community privacy. Screenshots of tutors, students, or classes are prohibited without authorization.
9.3 Sharing Info: Distributing phone numbers, addresses, emails, or personal documents of others is forbidden.
9.4 Account Security & 9.5 One Student Per Account: Keep credentials confidential. Accounts belong to one registered student and cannot be shared.
9.6 Class Links: Meeting links and access codes must not be shared without permission.
9.7 Contact Outside TutorX: TutorX policies continue to apply whenever TutorX activities or platforms are involved.
10. Article 10 - Fees, Payments and Student Access
10.1 Payment Responsibility: Fees must be paid according to TutorX Payment Policy.
10.2 Outstanding Fees & 10.3 Access: Unpaid fees may place access to live classes and platforms on hold until settled.
10.4 Refunds: Refund requests are governed exclusively by the TutorX Refund Policy.
11. Article 11 - Technology, Online Learning Environment and Digital Etiquette
11.1 Learning Environment & 11.2 Internet: Students must attend from a quiet space with a stable connection.
11.4 Devices & 11.5 Mobile Etiquette: Desktops, laptops, tablets, or phones may be used. Avoid answering calls or switching to entertainment apps during class.
11.6 Readiness & 11.7 Dress Code: Devices must be charged and students must wear clean, appropriate clothing (avoid attending while lying in bed).
11.8 Digital Etiquette: Respect speaking turns, listen when others speak, and follow instructions.
12. Article 12 - Use of Chat, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Learning Tools
12.1 & 12.2 Chat Conduct: Chat is for academic purposes. Spamming, flooding, and offensive language are prohibited.
12.3 Emojis & 12.4 GIFs/Memes: Respectful emoji use is allowed. GIFs/memes are permitted only with express tutor consent.
12.5 & 12.6 AI Rules: AI is a learning aid, not a replacement for effort. Using AI to complete homework or exams is prohibited.
13. Article 13 - Intellectual Property and TutorX Learning Resources
13.1 Ownership & 13.2 Use: All materials (notes, recordings, worksheets) belong to TutorX and are for personal educational use only.
13.3 Distribution Prohibited: Uploading materials to Telegram, Google Drive, YouTube, or social media, or selling materials, is illegal.
13.6 Advertising & 13.7 Recruitment: Advertising competing tuition centers or recruiting TutorX students is forbidden.
13.8 Cybersecurity: Hacking, unauthorized system access, piracy, and malware distribution will trigger immediate disciplinary/legal action.
14. Article 14 - Complaints, Investigations and Fair Review
14.1 Right to Complain & 14.2 Good Faith: Complaints must be made through official channels in good faith. False complaints are a policy violation.
14.3 Complaints Against Tutors & 14.4 Investigation: TutorX fairly investigates tutor conduct using recordings, chat logs, and statements.
14.5 Confidentiality & 14.8 Final Decision: Investigations remain confidential. Internal administrative decisions are final.
15. Article 15 - Disciplinary Procedures
15.2 Progressive Discipline Stages
- Stage One: Verbal warning
- Stage Two: Written warning
- Stage Three: Parent or guardian notification
- Stage Four: Behavioural guidance or counselling
- Stage Five: Temporary suspension
- Stage Six: Permanent removal in exceptional circumstances
15.5 Serious Misconduct: Immediate suspension/removal may occur for severe threats, violence, fraud, criminal activity, or cyber-attacks.
15.8 Re-Admission: Re-admission for permanently removed students remains at TutorX's sole discretion.
16. Article 16 - Emergency, Safety and Student Wellbeing
16.2 Medical Emergencies: Tutors will excuse ill students immediately and notify parents/TutorX staff.
16.4 Respectful Learning Environment: TutorX maintains an environment free from bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
16.6 Student Wellbeing: TutorX may recommend learning support or counselling to benefit student growth.
17. Article 17 - Certificates, Academic Records and Student Recognition
17.1 Academic Records & 17.2 Certificates: Academic records are maintained confidentially. Certificates are awarded upon program completion.
17.3 Outstanding Fees: Documents may be temporarily withheld if unpaid financial obligations exist.
17.4 Student Recognition: Merit certificates and appreciation awards are given for attendance, integrity, and achievement.
18. Article 18 - Policy Amendments, Compliance and Governing Provisions
18.1 Updates & 18.2 Notification: TutorX reserves the right to amend this Code and will notify families of significant changes.
18.4 Compliance: Students must comply with this Code, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, and Child Safety Policy.
18.6 Exceptional Circumstances: TutorX reserves authority to act in unlisted emergency scenarios to protect community safety.
19. Article 19 - General Provisions
19.2 No Waiver & 19.3 Severability: Failure to enforce a provision does not waive future enforcement. Unenforceable clauses do not affect remaining sections.
19.5 Authority: The Founder of TutorX retains final authority over Code interpretation and administrative decisions.
20. Article 20 - Enforcement of this Code
20.1 Authority to Enforce: Enforcement is carried out by the Founder, management, staff, and tutors.
20.2 Classroom Authority: Tutors may issue verbal warnings, mute microphones, or temporarily remove disruptive students from live sessions.
21. Article 21 - Responsibilities of Students
Students must attend regularly, arrive prepared, complete homework honestly, maintain respectful behavior, secure credentials, protect system property, and comply with all administrative directions.
22. Article 22 - Responsibilities of Parents and Legal Guardians
Parents are expected to support attendance, provide a suitable quiet study space, fulfill fee obligations, avoid interrupting live classes, and cooperate constructively with TutorX administration.
23. Article 23 - Rights Reserved by TutorX
TutorX reserves rights over teaching methods, tutor assignments, schedules, operational procedures, administrative record reviews, policy updates, and protection of educational standards.
24. Article 24 - Final Provisions
Enrolment constitutes full acceptance. Compliance remains a continuing obligation. All decisions regarding interpretation and administration remain under the authority of TutorX.

I acknowledge that I have carefully read, understood, and agree to comply with the TutorX Student Code of Conduct.
I understand that this Code establishes the standards of behaviour, academic integrity, discipline, professionalism, and responsibility expected of every TutorX student.
I agree to:
- Respect my tutors, classmates, and every member of the TutorX community.
- Complete my academic work honestly and independently unless otherwise permitted.
- Follow TutorX policies and tutor instructions.
- Use TutorX resources responsibly.
- Protect the privacy and rights of others.
- Maintain appropriate behaviour both inside and outside TutorX classes whenever TutorX services are involved.
- Accept responsibility for my own actions.
I understand that failure to comply with this Student Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action in accordance with TutorX policies.
Parent or Legal Guardian Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that I have carefully read and understood the TutorX Student Code of Conduct.
I understand my responsibilities as a parent or legal guardian in supporting the student's education, attendance, behaviour, academic progress, and compliance with TutorX policies.
I agree to:
- Encourage regular attendance.
- Ensure fees are paid in accordance with TutorX policies.
- Provide a suitable learning environment where reasonably possible.
- Cooperate with TutorX regarding attendance, academic matters, behaviour, investigations, and student wellbeing.
- Respect TutorX tutors, staff, and educational procedures.
Consent to Future Policy Updates
TutorX continuously reviews and improves its educational services, policies, and operational procedures. Students and parents acknowledge that TutorX may amend, revise, replace, or introduce new policies where reasonably necessary. TutorX shall make reasonable efforts to communicate significant policy updates through official channels. Continued enrolment after notification constitutes acceptance of revised policies.
Declaration
By signing this document, the student and, where applicable, the parent or legal guardian declare that they have read this Code in its entirety, understand all contained rights and obligations, agree to comply with all TutorX policies, acknowledge TutorX's authority to apply disciplinary measures, and understand that TutorX may update this Code from time to time.
